Food Pantry

Matthew 25:40 - …Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

The Food Pantry is a subsidiary of the Rehoboth Church of God. It is located at 344 Blue Hills Avenue in Hartford, CT. Our goal is to minister to the physical man by supplying food and clothing to the men, women and children of our community who are in need. Clients are required to complete an application prior to receiving any services from the pantry. We have workers on site to help stock and organize the food pantry and package food orders for crisis clients. Clothing donations that are received are sorted through by the workers. The workers also make grocery deliveries to elderly who are physically unable to come to the food pantry. Our workers have both patience and positive attitudes as they serve. The order of operation is as follows: Thursdays 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM,and the last Tuesday and Saturday of every month 10:30 – 12:30PM.

Food Kitchen

The Food Kitchen is also a program that we cherish. The Rehoboth Church of God so graciously partners with The United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, CT. We come together the 3rd Saturday of every month. We prepare a fresh meal for families and individuals alike who are in need. Workers are on site to help prepare as well as serve the food. We make sure that the clients are satisfied and well fed. Workers set up at the beginning of the day and clean up at the end of the day. The hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (3rd Saturdays).
